Hello girls!! Hope you’re well!
Today we’re going to talk about how the arrival of a baby affects a relationship and how we can deal with it.
The arrival of a baby is an important and overwhelming event that raises many questions that don’t have clear answers.

To find the answers, we have to experience it firsthand and gain that experience.
The arrival of a baby can shake a couple, either positively or negatively.
What we must be clear about is that a baby should not be born to fix relationship problems or save a relationship, because a broken relationship or one without solid foundations cannot be fixed, no matter how many babies a couple has.

In fact, it may make things worse. A baby should come from the love between you and your partner and for the love of the baby itself.
Nowadays, many couples separate after having a baby, even if they’ve been together for a long time, and that’s because it’s not easy to raise a human being who completely depends on you while also trying to maintain the relationship. It requires a lot of understanding, empathy, patience, love, and above all, communication.
From my humble experience, communication is the key to overcoming this stage without the relationship falling apart.

The arrival of a baby can bring many arguments and misunderstandings between the couple, and if there isn’t good communication, the relationship will slowly fade away.
Another important aspect is that you should always try to have moments alone with your partner to reconnect with each other and remind yourselves that even though you’re now parents, you’re still a couple.

Don’t neglect your relationship because that will be the beginning of the end.
To conclude, from my humble opinion, if you’re in this situation with your partner and don’t know how to solve it, I recommend talking with him/her. Express how you feel, your concerns, your fears, and how you need their support to overcome them. If they truly love you, no matter how many arguments you’ve had, they will always try to make things right.
And don’t forget to have a lot of patience. It’s not easy at first, but as time goes by, everything will slowly settle, and this phase will pass.
